While the majority of family histories were completed some were not for various reasons.
I have included the Westphal girls as they were only 9 and 7 years old when Anna married John and they were raised with the the Tilley family and indeed Harriet was married at the home of John Tilley/and/mentioned in his will.

FAMILY INFORMATION.

To Dulcie Sandford (P51) whose hand-written notes on the early Tilley family became the foundation for our family Record Book, John Tilley (P24) had contacted relatives so thanks to Jean I was able to utilise this collection.

In compiling our history, many people gave vital details about their families usually at least twice as I double checked information. In the majority of cases these are relatives whom I have never met so their help in filling these pages with our family history was amazing.

My family for their help in many ways, my wife for not complaining about the Telephone account.

ENGLISH INFORMATION.

In 1976 Marie with husband Michael Tilley (P65) and his parents visited England to trace parts of our family history ,this start gave the impetus to continue om with our English relatives.

Steve Tilley of Whitby (England)a Great/G/G/G/Grandson of Peter Tilley,(Henry's brother) supplied information on the family which I was able to confirm with Marie. At this moment we have not been able to go past Henry's parents, only to expand existing families. While I have not found records for 3 of Henry's brothers the possibility that as two died relativeley young there may be no other records, marriages, births etc.
