| Frank found employment with
SA Rail,he was stationed at Angaston and eventually he became a
porter on the SA to WA train. In 1920 the family moved back to
Golden Grove to help his brother Stan at Hillcott Farm (C.Tilley
interview @ TTG Library) although Phyllis Marsson can remember it as
helping John Henry at harvest time on Greenwith Farm. A fruit and
vegetable round is also mentioned in family papers. Frank went to
work for Phoebe Banks at her Cudlee Creek orchard as a
farmhand/gardener until he retired and shifted from Golden Grove to
Athelstone. Frank was the first Secretary of the Golden Grove Show
